This delicious Tawny port is crafted from tawny casks up to 70 years in age, showing a seductive nose of mixed nuts and dried fruit. It is beautifully rounded on the palate with a long elegant finish.

Located in the Valley of Vilariça in the Douro Valley, Quinta da Silveira has been owned by the same family for the past couple of centuries. Silveira boasts 70 hectares of vineyards with the best varieties used for the production of Port and Douro DOC wines. Over recent years they have built a new winery and are producing wines of the highest order. Winemaker Rodrigo Martins enjoys using traditional methods including grapes crushed by feet and fermented in traditional open tanks (lagares) using only natural yeasts. Wines are aged in top quality French oak barrels.

Situated in the Douro Valley, Quinta da Silveira was founded in the mid-19th century and has since remained in the same family. Today, Manuel Maria Martinho, sixth generation, run the winery alongside winemaker Rodrigo Martins. Traditional methods including grapes crushed by feet and fermented in traditional open tanks known as ‘lagares’ are still in use.
