Margarete Steiff – Making children's dreams come true

Founder Margarete Steiff was a remarkable woman in many respects. Exceptional for the time, she fought for her place in life as a young girl, against many odds, and became an independent entrepreneur.

With a pincushion in the shape of a small fabric elephant, she wrote the first chapter of an unprecedented success story that is still being written today, after more than 140 years. Thanks to the loving dedication and quality awareness of all employees, the personal history of Margarete Steiff and Steiff the company remain inseparably linked to this day.

With the invention of the Teddy bear in 1902, her nephew Richard Steiff accomplished a pioneering feat that has created precious moments and loving memories for generations. The Teddy bear head with the "Button in Ear" is now an iconic symbol of the quality of a true Steiff teddy and soft cuddly animal.

Thommy Teddy Bear

Gorgeous Cuddly Thommy Teddy from the famous Steiff brand, a beautifully sweet friend for someone very special!

The beautiful Thommy Teddy bear is 20 cm tall and made of cuddly soft, vanilla-coloured plush. His soles and paws are contrasted in short plush. Tommy has a beautifully shaped teddy bear head with bright black eyes, a cute dark brown nose, an embroidered mouth and cuddly teddy bear ears with a Steiff tag and stainless steel "Button in Ear". Little bean bags in his bottom, paws and soles make playtime even more fun and allow him to sit steadily.

The sweet cuddly Honey Teddy Bear from the famous Steiff brand, a beautiful little bear to show your love for someone very special!

Soft Cuddly Friends Honey Teddy bear - the name alone says it all: The 18 cm friend with a honey-sweet smile will steal the heart of any child...or grown-up! The bean bags included at his rear, paws and soles allow him to be firmly seated on a surface.

This Steiff Jimmy Teddy Bear is the perfect way to show your love for that very special someone. From its classic Steiff design to its handcrafted quality, this delightful soft and cuddly teddy bear is sure to bring comfort and joy that will last a lifetime. 

Jimmy Teddy bear measures 30 cm and its smiling face is great to put the smile back on a child’s face when comforting and snuggling are needed. The wavy and beautifully soft plush fabric is light brown. The cute black nose and smiling mouth are embroidered in black stitching. A bean bag is sewn into its bottom to provide support. There are also bean bags in the arms and legs.
